Built to be impossible to put down.
Families are suing the makers of Fortnite (Epic Games), Roblox, Minecraft (Microsoft) and Call of Duty (Activision). They say these games were deliberately designed to be addictive to kids, with no warning to parents.

What happened
The lawsuits point to loot boxes, battle passes, in-game currency and reward loops designed to keep young players spending time and money, leading to gaming disorder, anxiety, depression, falling grades and withdrawal from family life.
Who may qualify
You may have a claim if:
- Started playing heavily as a child or young adult
- Diagnosed with gaming disorder or a related mental-health condition
- Serious harm: treatment, school problems, lost work or significant spending

Where the case stands
The federal panel that decides national consolidation has twice declined to create an MDL for these cases. More than 100 cases against Epic, Roblox, Microsoft, Activision and others are coordinated in Los Angeles state court (JCCP 5363). No settlement has been announced.

Questions families ask
What does it cost?
Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee, so there is no fee unless we recover money for you. The exact terms are in your written retainer, and they follow the rules in your state.
My child is now an adult. Can they still file?
Possibly. Claims depend on when the harm began and your state’s deadlines. We review each case individually.
Does playing a lot mean we have a case?
Not by itself. The strongest cases involve a diagnosis and real harm. We tell you honestly where you stand.
Is there a deadline to file?
Yes. Every state sets a deadline, called a statute of limitations. Some start when you were hurt, others when you learned the cause. Contact us now so you do not lose your right to file.
