Built to keep you betting.
People who lost savings, homes and families to gambling apps are suing DraftKings, FanDuel and other sportsbooks. The lawsuits say the apps were designed to hook users and target people already struggling.

What happened
The lawsuits describe in-game micro-betting, nonstop notifications, VIP hosts who courted heavy losers, and “risk-free” promotions that were anything but. Some claims say companies kept marketing to people showing clear signs of a gambling problem.
Who may qualify
You may have a claim if:
- Bet regularly on an online sportsbook app such as DraftKings or FanDuel
- Diagnosed with gambling disorder, or suffered serious financial loss
- The company kept marketing to you or offering incentives as losses grew

Where the case stands
This litigation is at an early stage. Individual lawsuits have been filed in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Illinois and other states. Two Massachusetts cases were amended in June 2026 to add consumer-protection claims, and a dismissal in another case is on appeal. Sportsbook terms often include arbitration clauses, which we review in every case.

Questions families ask
What does it cost?
Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee, so there is no fee unless we recover money for you. The exact terms are in your written retainer, and they follow the rules in your state.
I agreed to the app’s terms. Can I still sue?
Many terms require arbitration, but that does not always end the claim. We review your specific terms.
Is this a class action?
Most of these cases are brought individually, so your losses are valued on their own.
Is there a deadline to file?
Yes. Every state sets a deadline, called a statute of limitations. Some start when you were hurt, others when you learned the cause. Contact us now so you do not lose your right to file.
